Statistics is one of the most reliable research tools for a behavioral researcher. Statistics is a collection of mathematical techniques for organizing, summarizing, and interpreting data. It helps find the solutions to the research problems by determining what general conclusions can be drawn from the specific results obtained. Statistical procedures aid in presenting and interpreting the data or observation in a precise and informative manner (Gravetter & Wallnau, 2015). It is easy to replicate statistical methods. Using the same data, it is simple for a researcher to validate the findings of a colleague. Other researchers will be familiar with the statistical methods used by one researcher and can accurately interpret the results.
